Spinach with Garlic and Pepper

Flavorful and Healthy


Ingredients:

  • 450 grams of spinach

  • Two cloves of garlic

  • Four flakes of dry red chilli

  • Two teaspoons of Olive Oil

  • A pinch of salt


Cooking Time:

  • Preparation Time: 3 minutes

  • Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Method:

  • Cut and discard the stems of the spinach. Rinse the leaves in cold water to remove any dust. Pat the leaves dry with kitchen tissue.

  • Cut the spinach leaves into thin (1 cm) strips.

  • Chop the garlic.

  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the garlic till wilted for around two minutes. Add the chilli flakes and stir a couple of times.

  • Add the spinach leaves to the pan and fry them stirring occasionally till reduced to one fourth for six to eight minutes. Add Salt to taste.
